At a glance

Teikyo University Hospital, located in Itabashi, Tokyo, introduced full-IP communication infrastructure combining NEC "UNIVERGE SV7000" and NTT DOCOMO FOMA®/Wireless LAN Dual-Network Handset "onefone™" to Japan's largest new hospital ward opened in May 2009. Integrating voice and data into one handset enables medical staff to send/receive and confirm patient information by linking with other devices such as nurse call system and contributes to their work style innovation.

*FOMA®/Wireless LAN Dual-Network Handsets "onefone™" are used for extension calls (wireless LAN).
